A good solution to what could've easily been a troublesome color palette. The aqua green used throughout the LWR corporate identity is effective in limited doses, but could be crippling if overdone. To heighten its potential, I introduced a strong blue background shade, complimented by a neutral khaki shade to contain the site's navigational elements, and sparing use of the corporate grey around the page. The green is used infrequently throughout the site, usually as a call to action or point of special interest, and really shines in that role.
Additionally, we were asked to integrate a few elements from the company's new print campaign mid-stream. For the most part, that was done through photo selection and treatments, and the end result is a layout that delivers a fresh take on their existing materials without distancing itself from the corporate identity. This site was designed during my tenure as Art Director for GravityFree Web Design.
