A series of logos I pitched to the parent company of Skimboard Cartel for their corporate identity. Though none of these were selected to be the final logo, you can see by clicking here that the finished logo has a lot in common with these early concepts. I was really enjoying myself when I created these, since this is a culture and a demographic I've always been interested in. I love the Tarantino vibe the three well dressed hoods convey in each of these, and they're all something I'd love to have printed on a sticker and affixed to the back of my car. Just as a side note, at the time I was concepting these the corporate colors had not yet been determined, which is why they're all in black & white. Also, the way the white dress shirts and ties interact just under each character's chin led to my eventual use of that theme in an illustration several months down the line. These logos were designed during my tenure as Art Director for GravityFree Web Design.
