The second portion of my complete rehaul of my favorite band's public image. I carried over the retrospective atmosphere that I'd established with the interior design of the CD jacket (namely, a series of faded, stained, torn photographs from the band's past) and used them as a focal element in this small point of sale system. There's no real function or purpose to this little promotional piece, aside from announcing to the public that there's a new Cure album on sale and perhaps giving a fanatical fan a new piece of merchandise to add to his / her collection. It stands about fifteen inches tall and another fifteen wide, and the area including and below the line of photographs is separate, supported about three or four inches in front of the large reproduction of the album's cover. Presumably, store associates could stock the space behind the photos with a few copies of the CD itself, but I think it works better as a standalone piece.
