Welcome to the Q Review DVD Department. This is the little cubbyhole of my universe, where I'm allowed to pretend my opinion means something and other people care what I thought of Fight Club. Basically, it's an active archive of all my DVD Reviews from Amazon.com, Oratory Opinions and Project Whatever. There's a chance you may read some spoilers in this section, so if that's not your bag, back out now. Otherwise, feel free to see what I thought of any particular film. I haven't really sat down and done much in the way of DVD reviews yet, (obviously) so I'd figure you'll want to check back later.
...and by the way, the three newest reviews are listed along the left hand side of this page.

Gorillaz: Phase 1 - Celebrity Take Down A collection of videos and other oddities from one of my favorite bands, the pseudo-manufactured "Gorillaz." Considering how high a regard I hold the four videos these guys have produced thus far, this had better be good. read more...

Monty Python and the Holy Grail A jaw-droppingly good restoration of the quintessential offbeat comedy film. If you've laughed at Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, chuckled at the Kids in the Hall or have any sort of interest at all about comedy itself, this is worth your while. read more...

| | | The Hidden Fortress My first exposure to the work of famed director Akira Kurosawa, as well as the widely-credited inspiration for Star Wars, I was immediately impressed by this 1958 classic... and then slowly let down, as the story refused to wrap itself up. read more...

| | | Run Lola Run A relatively well known German film, focusing on the importance of chance occurrances in everyday life. Chances are, you've seen this one on the shelves at Blockbuster, taken a close look at the box art and moved on to check out a film that wasn't subtitled. I'd recommend you to go back for it. read more...

| | | UFC: Ultimate Knockouts 1 & 2 Like eating an ice cream cone for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Ultimate Knockouts skips over the substance of these Mixed Martial Arts knock-down drag-outs and gets right to the flash, splicing one knockout after another in rapid succession. Good fun that doesn't get old quite as quickly as you'd imagine. read more...
